J.J Abrams created a real cool movie when he directed the 2009 version of Star Trek. At the risk of being killed by Trekkies I’d like to point out that before this I’d always confused the Star Trek episodes with Stargate and Star Wars. Which isn’t my fault since they should come up with better freaking names for space movies that don’t have the word ‘star’ in them anyway. But that isn’t important since I remember all the important stuff. Like Captain Kirk is played by James Pine, Winona Ryder plays Amanda Grayson, and Spock is represented by Zachary Quinto while Spock Prime is played by Leonard Nemoy. See? Now this upgraded version of the 70’s film as well as television show, tells the story of Captain Kirk before he lost all his hair and became Captain Kirk and was instead known only as that brat James. We get to see some truly fascinating twists to what was believed to be the story behind Star Trek. Honestly, even though I wasn’t a Trekkie, I have to say that I was suitably impressed. Here’s hoping there’s a sequel.
